• Is your vehicle fully “Paid For”? Celebrate and tell the world that you own it!
• Purchased during the first release of custom plates (around 1986), “Paid 4” was proudly displayed on my 1979 Holden Statesman (see photo) while the car was still relatively new (and worth boasting about). The plates regularly raised smiles and good-natured nods from other drivers.
• Twenty years on, my then “classic” car was sold to a car museum – but I kept the number plates. Now it's time for someone else to enjoy them.
• These are the originals, which have been on the car during extensive travels around Australia, so they show signs of usage. If you prefer pristine condition (or even a different colour scheme), replacements can be issued via VicRoads for a relatively small cost.
